The Salvation Army of Roseville is set to offer social services for homeless and disadvantaged people in south Placer County at a newly remodeled community center.
The agency plans to begin operating at its Roseville center by December after rehabbing the 100-year-old building, a Salvation Army news release states. The center will provide showers, toiletries and clothing as well as meals and a food pantry for homeless and needy individuals and families, the statement says. Sunday worship services also will be held in a remodeled chapel.
Western leaders of the Salvation Army are expected to join local agency leaders, volunteers, donors and staff at a dedication ceremony. The event is set for 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the community center, 100 Lincoln St., Roseville.
