Lincoln to honor four students at State of the City breakfast

The annual Lincoln State of the City breakfast on Wednesday will recognize four Lincoln High School students for their civic accomplishments.

The breakfast, sponsored by the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, will include the presentation of All-America City Student Achievement Awards to recognize students who exemplify All- America City attributes. The students to be honored are Tyson Bowden, Sam Lloyd, Joanna Loya and Andi Shaw.

In 2006, Lincoln was named a winner of the coveted All-America Cities Award given by the National Civic League - the nation's longest running and most prestigious civic recognition program.

The Lincoln State of the City Breakfast will start at 7 a.m. at Orchard Creek Lodge, 965 Orchard Creek Lane, Lincoln.
