Five candidates competing for two open seats on Granite Bay's Eureka Union School District are expected to participate Oct. 20 in a candidates forum.
Members of the district's parent teacher clubs and the League of Women Voters of Placer County announced they will host the event from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Cavitt Junior High School, 7200 Fuller Drive.
The audience will be able to submitt written questions to the candidates. Each of the candidates - who will be newcomers to the board - will have two minutes to introduce themselves, said organizer Cami De Cesaris.There will be a 10-minute session for questions from the audience followed by candidates closing statements.
The candidates include: Kristie Greiss, former medical sonographer for Mercy San Juan Medical Center; Robert Bruce Hoslett, a senior safety specialist for the Sacramento Regional Transit District; Ryan R. Jones, an attorney and captain in the Air Force Reserves; Eric Sanchez, a sales manager for Oracle Corp; Eric J. Teed-Bose, director of a real estate development company.
