Sacramento's 1,000 highest-paid local government employees

The 1,000 highest-paid local government workers in the Sacramento region collectively earned $172 million during 2010 -- enough to pay every municipal worker in Roseville, Folsom and Davis. The median pay for these workers was $162,500. Median pay for all local government workers is far less -- about $64,000, according to a Bee review of data from the state controller's office.
