The Sacramento Bee Plus provides immediate and unlimited access to all content on our newspaper’s website (SacBee.com), our iPhone and Android apps, and our electronic replica edition (E-Edition), in addition to your printed newspaper subscription. The Sacramento Bee Plus bundles all the ways you can read The Sacramento Bee’s content into one price.

Without a digital subscription, you will have unlimited access to some portions of our site, including the Home Page, section fronts, Bee Buzz Points, 49ers, Sacramento Connect, Dealsaver, Cars.com, real estate listings and other advertising areas. Access to some other content will be limited to a set number of pages every 30 days. Once you reach the page limit, you'll need to subscribe or wait 30 days to view additional content. Mobile devices have a different limit.

Once you purchase your digital subscription, you will be logged in to your account from the device you used to make the purchase. You don’t have to do anything else to access the SacBee content.

However, if you switch to another device or clear your login data, you may be asked to subscribe. If that happens, simply click the “Sign In” button on the top left corner of that screen and enter your e-mail address and the password you selected.

Yes you can but you will need to sign in and verify your email in order to comment.

Most of our readers use Sacbee.com or our mobile apps, so bundling them makes sense. But if you never use the website, don’t have a smartphone or tablet, you can opt out of the digital portion of your subscription.  Please note that we do have content that only goes online, so you will miss this – breaking news and updates, databases, photo galleries and videos, and additional letters to the editor are just some of the examples.  The ‘print only’ weekly rate will be calculated as 50% of your combo subscription.  The full basic weekly rate for a ‘digital only’ subscription is $15.05.  The full basic weekly rate for the ‘print only’ products are $15.05 for Daily/ Sunday; $9.52 for Friday-Sunday; and $6.29 for Sunday Only delivery plus tax and delivery charges.   To opt out, just call us at 800-284-3233.

The count starts over every 30 days, not on a monthly calendar.

Yes. Your digital subscription can be shared with up to five users.

Yes. Just enter the account information for your digital subscription when prompted. For the iPad e-Edition, customers will need to download the app through iTunes.

Yes. All home delivery subscribers can add the digital bundle. Please call us at 800-284-3233 to add unlimited digital access to your account. Your digital access is good 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Press+ account grants paid subscribers access to our digital products.

Your Sacbee account is useful for commenting and other features.

Account Management FAQ

Press+ is our e-commerce system for digital subscriptions. When you subscribe to SacBee.com, you will create a Press+ account, and Press+ will charge your credit card for the subscription amount. The charge will appear on your credit card statement as “Press Plus” in the amount you have selected for your subscription.

 No. You can log in using your account username and password from wherever you access the Internet.

Yes, you can use the same account for all your family members.

Yes. If you right-click on the window and “view frame info” or “frame source,” you'll see it's an https URL.

We accept major credit cards. Subscriptions are billed every 30 days for monthly subscriptions or every 360 days for annual subscriptions. Your subscription renews automatically, and you are charged in advance of each billing cycle unless you cancel.

Note: Because Press+ is managing the billing for your digital subscription, the charge on your credit card statement will say “Press Plus” rather than The Sacramento Bee.

No. All payments are via credit card.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, we will stop charging your account the following billing cycle. Your unlimited access will continue for the remainder of the current 30-day period. Afterward, you will still be able to view a set number of pages per 30-day period on SacBee.com at no charge, just like any other visitor.

You are automatically signed in as soon as you subscribe; there isn’t anything further you need to do. If you are prompted with a message to subscribe at a later time, you can log in with the account you created. If you subscribed at one computer and would like to sign in at a different computer (e.g. home and work computers), go to http://sacbee.com/ and click “Sign In.”

 To access your account, follow these steps:
1. Click “My Account” at http://www.mypressplus.com
2. Log in with your email address and password

 To reset your password, follow these steps:
1. Go to https://accounts.mypressplus.com
2. Click “Forgot password”
3. Enter your email address and click “Submit.” This will send you an email with a link to reset your password.
4. After clicking the link, you will be prompted to enter and reconfirm your new password.
5. Click “Submit” and your password will be updated.

 To modify your payment information, follow these steps:
1. Click “My Account” at http://www.mypressplus.com
2. On the “Account Summary” page, select “Modify Payment Information”
3. Confirm that the cardholder name and billing zip code of your credit/debit card are correct
4. Enter your card number and expiration date
5. Click “Submit” and your payment information will be updated

 Registered NIE teachers should contact us at 916-321-1784 to be given unlimited access to the web site and the E-edition for use in the classroom.
