The pre-game walkout by the team — from Sherman E Burroughs High School in Ridgecrest — saw each member of the squad make their way to the field carrying an American flag to the sound of Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA. California native Tina Marie shared the viral clip of the walkout to Facebook and wrote about how the procession brought a tear to her eye.
