He started in Thursday’s 95-92 preseason victory over San Antonio though his numbers weren’t stunning: four points, two rebounds and an assist. And that’s fine, says coach George Karl. “His numbers don’t tell you how well we think he’s playing,” Karl says. “He just kind of gives you a no-nonsense, low-maintenance type of personality on your first unit.”
