Regional Digest: Sac State women roll to exhibition victory

The Sacramento State women had seven players score in double figures in a 103-47 exhibition basketball win over visiting UC Santa Cruz on Sunday, Sac State reported.
The Hornets trailed 24-16 before getting on track. They made 42 of 111 shots, including 16 of 46 from 3-point range.
Alle Moreno led the Sac State with 21 points.
The Hornets, under first-year coach Bunky Harkleroad, open the regular season at 5 p.m. Friday by hosting Cal State Northridge. The Sac State men then host UC Santa Cruz at 7:30 p.m.
UC Davis plays spoiler's role in women's soccer
The host UC Davis women's soccer team ended the season by beating UC Santa Barbara 1-0 and ending the Gauchos' hopes of reaching the Big West Conference tournament, UCD reported.
Ashley Kawasaki scored for the Aggies (6-9-3, 3-5-1 Big West).
UC Santa Barbara (9-9-1, 3-5-0) lost its fourth straight match to UCD.
