Giants closer Sergio Romo has been added to Tuesday's All-Star Game. Giants manager Bruce Bochy, who is guiding the National League team, announced the move Sunday. It will be Romo's first All-Star Game.

"I didn't really think it would happen, to be honest. I'm an All-Star," Romo said before Sunday's Giants game against San Diego. "That's kind of cool."

Romo and Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Mark Melancon were named to the game as replacements for injured Jeff Locke of the Pirates and Jordan Zimmermann of the Washington Nationals.
