Suffering from strained rib cartilage, Kings forward Rudy Gay is doubtful for Saturday night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Gay played through the injury during Thursday’s loss at Orlando and said afterward he was fine.
Gay averaged 34 points in two wins against Milwaukee last season. DeMarcus Cousins missed both of those games.
Gay is the Kings’ second-leading scorer at 22.5 points per game.
Matt Barnes and Omri Casspi probably will fill in for Gay if he is unable to play. Barnes has started one game this season, and Casspi returned to the lineup Thursday after missing two games due to illness.
