Kings coach Michael Malone said forward Rudy Gay would start tonight against the Atlanta Hawks.
Gay left Tuesday night’s game in the second half due to right knee stiffness. Malone said he would be in communication with Gay to make sure the knee was not a problem.
Gay struggled with the knee and had four points against the Bobcats.
Prediction time: I’ve officially given up trying to figure out what the Kings will do night to night. Well not really given up, but it is hard to get a read on the Kings this season.
Never miss a local story.
This could be a bad match up for the Kings because of Al Horford and Paul Millsap. Unless DeMarcus Cousins can get both players in foul trouble, it could be another long night.
Hawks 101, Kings 94
