The Kings sent rookie guard Ray McCallum on Monday to the Reno Bighorns, their NBA Development League affiliate – and this time for more than one hour.
On Sunday, the Kings announced that McCallum had been assigned to the Bighorns, but the assignment was rescinded about an hour later.
McCallum, the No. 36 pick in the 2013 draft, has played in six games for the Kings. In his first stint with the Bighorns, McCallum averaged 22 points, five rebounds, 3.7 assists and 38 minutes in three games, Nov. 21-27.
The Bighorns have home games against Bakersfield tonight, Los Angeles on Friday and Bakersfield again on Saturday before playing at Los Angeles on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
