The Kings will have Rudy Gay (strained left Achilles) and Isaiah Thomas (illness) back in the lineup for tonight’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Gay had missed the previous three games. Thomas left Monday’s loss at Utah after feeling ill.
DeMarcus Cousins (sprained left ankle) will miss his fourth consecutive game. It’s unknown if Cousins will make the two-game road trip that starts Friday at Dallas.
The Kings are on a four-game losing streak, including the three games missed by both Gay and Cousins.
Prediction time: The Grizzlies have been one of the best teams in January and are catching the Kings down Cousins.
And there’s no way to know how much Gay and Thomas can give the Kings. This has the makings of a tough night.
Grizzlies 101, Kings 92
My record: 27-17
