Pregame notes: Kings are healthy; Celtics are shorthanded

The Kings will have all their players available, including recently-acquired forward Reggie Evans, when they host the Boston Celtics tonight.

DeMarcus Cousins is healthy after sitting out Wednesday loss to Golden State with a strained left hip flexor.

Kings coach Michael Malone said his starting lineup would be Cousins, Jason Thompson, Rudy Gay, Ben McLemore and Isaiah Thomas.

Malone plans to feature Carl Landry more with the second unit, along with Derrick Williams and Rudy.

*Jared Sullinger suffered a mild concussion during Boston’s loss Friday night at the Los Angeles Lakers. He had a career-high 31 points and 16 rebounds against the Kings in Boston Feb. 7.

Rajon Rondo will not play because tonight is the second of back-to-back games. Avery Bradley (ankle) is also out.

Boston will start Phil Pressey, Gerald Wallace, Brandon Bass, Jeff Green and Kris Humphries.

Prediction time: It seems every game I assume the Kings cannot lose, they somehow lose. But with two days off, Cousins back, and the Celtics depleted by injuries, the Kings should be embarrassed if they come up short tonight.

Kings 107, Celtics 95

My record: 31-23
