Pregame notes: Gay, Evans both expected to be in the starting lineup

The Kings will have their starting frontcourt back tonight.
Rudy Gay (strained lower back) and Reggie Evans (sore lower back) will both start for the Kings against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Both sat out Tuesday’s loss to Oklahoma City.• I caught up with Ray McCallum before the game. He said fatigue is not an issue and that his recent shooting slump (9-for-40) is not due to fatigue. He likes the shots he’s getting.
• Prediction time: Portland has clinched a playoff berth, but cannot afford to slip up and risk falling to sixth in the West and a possible meeting with the hot Los Angeles Clippers.
Blazers 105, Kings 98
My record: 50-27 (minus the pregame session missed due to travel issues).
