The Kings will have guard Isaiah Thomas available for tonight’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Thomas has missed the last 10 games with a right quad contusion. Kings coach Michael Malone said before the game there was an “outside” chance Thomas would play.

Rudy Gay (back) is out after playing Saturday at the Los Angeles Clippers. Derrick Williams will start for Gay.

• Minnesota will have Kevin Love (hyperextended right elbow) and Kevin Martin (sore right foot) available.
• Thomas should provide an emotional boost tonight. DeMarcus Cousins should be able to dominate inside with Nikola Pekovic out. Rookie Gorgui Dieng has been good in place of Pekovic, but he didn’t play against Cousins in the last meeting in Minnesota last month.

Kings 108, Timberwolves 99

My record: 52-27 (minus the pregame session missed due to travel issues).
