The Kings announced a six-player workout set for Monday at the team’s practice facility.
The six players aren’t options for the Kings’ first-round pick, eighth overall.
The Kings do not have a second-round pick this year. It was traded to Toronto before the 2012-13 season as part of the deal for forward James Johnson.
The Kings are open to a trade that would land a second-round pick.
Even without the second-round pick, the Kings will use the workout to look at players they might add to their summer league team or invite to training camp.
Kings workout, June 23:
Keith Appling (Michigan State) 6-1, 185 guard
Deonte Burton (Nevada) 6-1, 190 guard
Mike Dixon Jr. (Memphis) 6-1, 200 guard
DeAndre Kane (Iowa State) 6-4, 195 guard
Jarred Shaw (Utah State) 6-10, 235 forward-center
Aaric Murray (Texas Southern) 6-10, 245 center
