KINGS (14-19)
AT PISTONS (9-23)
THE PARTICULARS
Where: The Palace of Auburn Hills, Auburn Hills, Mich.
Time: 3 p.m.
TV/radio: CSNCA, 950, 1140
THREE KEYS
1. Play big: The Pistons have won four in a row with power forward Greg Monroe in the starting lineup with center Andre Drummond. The Kings need big games from DeMarcus Cousins, Carl Landry and the rest of their bigger players to keep the Pistons from dominating in the frontcourt.
2. Defensive awareness: The Kings need to keep tabs on Jodie Meeks, who is capable of going off for a big night from three-point range. Sacramento also cannot allow point guard Brandon Jennings to control the tempo.
3. Find the right pace: Running is fine, but the Kings cannot run at the expense of leaving Cousins and other bigs out of the offense. How to do that is still a work in progress for the team.
