MATCHUP TO WATCH
Raiders wide receiver Denarius Moore vs. Steelers secondary
Moore, with 25 catches for 399 yards and four touchdowns, has been Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor's favorite target this season. Last season, Moore beat Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor for a 6-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter of the Raiders' 34-31 victory. The more times Pryor can find Moore, the better the Raiders' chances for a victory.
THREE KEYS TO GAME
The Raiders hope to establish the run early with Darren McFadden and Pryor against a Steelers rush defense that ranks in the bottom half of the league, allowing 109.3 yards per game. In last season's Raiders victory, McFadden had 113 yards on just 18 carries, including a 64-yard touchdown run. Can McFadden, who has just 267 rushing yards this season, have another big game?
Speaking of big rushing games, Steelers rookie running back Le'Veon Bell had his best game of the season last week with 93 yards in a 19-16 win over the Baltimore Ravens. The Raiders need to keep him in check.
Which Pryor shows up today could determine the outcome. In the Raiders' 27-17 victory over the San Diego Chargers, Pryor was superb, completing 18 of 23 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. Two weeks ago, in a 24-7 loss to Kansas City, he completed just 18 of 34 passes and was intercepted three times.
