49ers report card: Week 7

Offense: The 49ers finally give Colin Kaepernick a green light to run, and he delivers with 68 yards and his first rushing touchdown of the season. The 49ers commit no turnovers for the third time this season. They again get little help from their No. 2 wide receiver, but they don't need it. Grade: B+
Defense: Cornerback Tramaine Brock provides the defense's only takeaway. Otherwise, the 49ers are efficient but not flashy in forcing six Titans punts. Neither the offense nor the defense, however, shows a killer instinct in the fourth quarter. Grade: B+
Special teams: C.J. Spillman makes another big tackle on punt coverage while rookie cornerback Darryl Morris, perhaps the fastest 49er, makes his presence felt with two tackles. Kassim Osgood recovers a muffed punt in the end zone for a touchdown. Grade: A-
Overall: The 49ers obviously aren't distracted by the second, London leg, of their two-week trip. They're focused against Tennessee and now take a four-game winning streak to Wembley Stadium against the winless Jacksonville Jaguars. Grade: A-
