10/08/2014 10:56 AM
Offense: Colin Kaepernick has his finest performance since Week 1, and the ground game seems to grow more powerful each week. Vernon Davis and Anquan Boldin are the only pass-catching threats, but they are more than enough. Grade: A-
Defense: The unit seems to relax after going up by 28 points. But Ahmad Brooks and Co. play a solid first half. Grade: A-
Special teams: Kyle Williams has a rough first half on returns and is replaced by Anthony Dixon on kick returns in the second. Save one lapse, the coverage units are solid as usual. Grade: C+
Overall: The 49ers are on a five-game winning streak and promise to get stronger a week from today with wide receiver Mario Manningham, cornerback Eric Wright and defensive end Tank Carradine expected back. Grade: A
