Cody Ransom, Peter O’Brien and Nick Evans homered as the Reno Aces defeated the River Cats 6-3 Friday night at Raley Field.
Reno’s Justin Marks tossed six innings of five-hit ball, allowing one earned run, to raise his record to 4-6. Matt Stites earned his first save of the year for the Aces.
Ty Blach (5-7) gave up eight hits and six earned runs in seven innings for the Cats.
Trevor Brown and Darren Ford each collected two hits, and Ehire Adrianza had a two-run single to lead Sacramento.
