Eight former Sacramento State men's basketball stars were inducted into the school's Hall of Fame on Wednesday. They are:
Chuck Mobley, 1955-59 (in memoriam): Averaged 18.3 points during his career and led the Hornets to the 1959 NCAA Tournament regionals.
Don Fausset, 1956-59: Averaged 10 rebounds a game. His teams went 7-0 against rival UC Davis, and he helped the school win its first conference title in 1959.
Lynn Livie, 1964-66 (in memoriam): The most prolific scorer in school history with a 27.8 average his two seasons, including 30.0 in 1965-66.
Greg Reed, 1966-69: Remains the only Hornet to be drafted into the NBA (ninth round to Warriors in 1969). Averaged 12.1 points and 9.9 rebounds in his Sac State career.
Nate Robinson, 1976-78: Led the Hornets to a Far Western Conference co-championship in 1976-77 when he was the conference co-Player of the Year; averaged 18.9 points in 1977-78.
Alex Williams, 1986-88: As a senior, he averaged 25.6 points (seventh in the nation) and 5.6 three-pointers (first in the nation). He helped lead the Hornets to their last NCAA Tournament appearance.
Damon Edwards, 1992-97: A four-year starter, Edwards remains one of the program's top players in the Division I era (1991-present). Averaged double figures in each of his final three seasons.
Jameel Pugh, 2003-05: Averaged 12 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in three seasons, and wowed crowds with his dunking abilities.
