Regional forumsThe Sacramento Bee is committed to serving the Sacramento area and each of its unique regions by providing the most complete, relevant and accurate news. This commitment extends your community with the launch of The Bee's new Regional Sections that provide coverage on local community news, sports, education and politics, and include events calendars, police and fire logs, as well as guides to local clubs and organizations. Plus, we've opened full-service offices in Elk Grove, Roseville and Folsom.

Public Affairs Department

The Sacramento Bee has been a community partner in Sacramento since 1857 and is committed to continuing its support through an ongoing investment of financial, material and human resources to address the needs of the community.

The Public Affairs Department is responsible for The Bee's involvement in the community. The department oversees all community outreach efforts including the Annual Charitable Contributions Program and The Book of Dreams (PDF of Book of Dreams application here); manages community event sponsorships and public speaking requests, as well as produces A Woman's Day, Career Expo, and the Bee Book Club.

Public Affairs Department is part of the Marketing & Public Affairs Division.
