Sacramento Bee departmentsThe Sacramento Bee is an operating unit of The McClatchy Company, a diversified communications company headquartered in Sacramento. The McClatchy Company currently publishes daily and non-daily newspapers in several western coastal states, as well as Minnesota and North and South Carolina. The newspaper industry is fascinating and complex. It encompasses everything from the heavy machinery of the pressroom and post press to the intellectual debates of the newsroom.
