The Vo family was the picture of contentment when they posed for their first formal portrait. Jimmy Brigham, a wheelchair user, found comfort settling into a new hammock-like leaf chair. Recipients whose wishes were fulfilled by Book of Dreams readers were enthralled, soothed and thankful for their life-enriching gifts.
On Nov. 22, we shared with you 24 stories of people in need, and we asked for your help. Readers again have shown generosity in the four weeks since the section was published.
To date, the 20th annual Book of Dreams has raised $92,137. In February, we'll publish a special ad thanking all those who have contributed. For the 20th year, thank you for opening your hearts to those in need.
