CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS

Each year, The Sacramento Bee awards cash and in-kind grants to non-profit organizations in our region whose mission fits within the following areas of emphasis: Arts, Children at Risk, Diversity, Environment and Literacy.

The Charitable Contributions application form should be used to apply for a charitable grant, golf tournament or event table sponsorship. If you would like to apply for sponsorship of a community event, other than a golf tournament or event table sponsorship, please obtain an Event Sponsorship application (see below).

Charitable Contributions are now being considered for the 2005 calendar year. The deadline to submit applications is November 12, 2004. To obtain an application, call The Bee's Public Affairs Department at (916) 321-1880 or download the Charitable Contributions application here.

EVENT SPONSORSHIPS

The Sacramento Bee commits our efforts and expertise toward events, programs and properties that will positively impact the community and generate high visibility for the newspaper, our Web sites and various products. We focus on programs that are logical extensions of our mission to be the region's leading provider of news and information.
