| Jackson Butte Radio Relay Annex | 4.0e-04 | Jackson | In 1962, 0.004-acre site was leased from Television Communication Incorporated by the US Air Force. The Jackson Butte Radio Relay Annex is located 45 miles southeast of Sacramento and 3 miles east of Jackson, in Amador County, CA. The Jackson Butte tower was used as anunstaffed microwave repeater site. The use of the tower was for the installation of tow 10-foot parabolic antennas at a height of approx 30 feet. The site was an off-base facility of McClellan Air Force Base. The .004-acre lease was terminated on 5 April 1975. There were no resettlement costs involved in this installation. |
