Justin Smith (elbow) and Ahmad Brooks (knee) were the only 49ers who were held out of Wednesday's practice. Smith, however, had his uniform on and was held back as a precaution. He is expected to play Sunday against Seattle. It looks as if Brooks, who had knee surgery in late August, will need another week to recover.
Meanwhile, Marcus Hudson (chest) was limited while Davis Baas (biceps), Aubrayo Franklin (shin), Chilo Rachal (neck) and Isaac Sopoaga (shoulder) went through a full practice. WR Brandon Jones (shoulder) also participated fully, although he wore a black -- no roughhousing -- jersey. The 49ers are being as transparent as possible with their injury report this year and are including players who perhaps would not have been on the report in previous seasons.
For the Seahawks, LB LeRoy Hill (groin), tackle Walker Jones (knee), LB Lofa Tatupu (hamstring), center Chris Spencer (quad), WR Deion Branch (hamstring), WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (back spasms) and CB Travis Fisher (hamstring) did not practice today. Hill is the only player ruled out for Sunday.
