The Sheets gonna hit the fan when you read this but .... the 49ers say they have no plans to elevate fan favorite Kory Sheets from the practice squad this week. That seemed to be a possibility yesterday when it was learned that Frank Gore could miss the next two games with an ankle injury. But the team is content with the two running backs it has - Glen Coffee and Michael Robinson. I expect Coffee to take over Gore's workload and for Robinson to play the role of Coffee this week. Adding Sheets to the active roster would force the 49ers to release a player already on the roster.
