Updating the weekend storyline ... Offensive tackle Tony Pashos has signed a one-year deal with the 49ers. To make room, the team released rookie Diyral Briggs. Expect Briggs to become the eighth and final member of the practice squad when/if he passes waivers tomorrow. Pashos obviously signed with the intent of becoming the 49ers' starting right tackle at some point this season. For now, however, he will be listed behind Adam Snyder.
