I'm working on a story for tomorrow's paper about how a team that says it "hits people in the mouth" acted like a punching bag -- again -- after a 10-day rest. The 49ers' injury report also reflects the beating they took today in Green Bay. Eight players landed on the report, including starting left guard David Baas (ankle) and return man Arnaz Battle (leg strain). The others are: Michael Robinson (stinger), Mark Roman (rib), Reggie Smith (groin), Marcus Hudson (back) and Delanie Walker (forearm).

Offense: Another tentative and terrible effort to start the game by the 49ers. This game was a replay of the post-bye week loss to Houston. The more time the 49ers have to prepare, the worse they play. Grade: D-
Defense: The 49ers enter the game with one of the league's best run defenses but allow 129 yards to Ryan Grant. Aaron Rodgers, meanwhile, has 274 yards and two touchdowns by halftime. Grade: D-
Special teams: Andy Lee is back to his 2007 form and bails the 49ers out of bad field possession several times. The 49ers' return game is the worst in the league and isn't helped by an Arnaz Battle injury. Grade: C
Overall: A very poor reflection on the coaching staff, which has an extra four days to prepare. Despite that advantage, the 49ers come out flat and uncreative on both sides of the ball. Grade: D-
