Steve Maviglio says the Assembly plans to package the governor's health care plan into legislation and put it up for a vote to "test the level of support" for his ideas. That's a drill that will reveal the obvious: next to no one, and perhaps no one, in the Legislature supports his plan as written. But we've known that for months. We also known that no Republican lawmakers support the Democrats' plan, and the governor has threatened to veto it. Are we not yet past the point of clarifying the differences and ready to move on to finding out if there is common ground? Apparently not.
