The latest on California politics and government

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has kept up his record of siding overwhelmingly with the California Chamber of Commerce, vetoing nine of the 10 bills the business group tagged as "job killers."

The only such legislation Schwarzenegger signed was SB 375 by incoming Senate leader Darrell Steinberg, D-Sacramento, which links land-use and global warming policy.

Read more about that bill on sacbee.com.

Since Schwarzenegger was sworn into office, he has nixed 47 of the Chamber's 51 "job killer" bills.

On Tuesday, Schwarzenegger even used the business group's own term -- job killer -- when describing how he picks legislation to veto.

"There are other bills that are not good and that's just the way it is every year. And I make decisions based on what bills are job-killing bills, what bills will cost more money to the state when we are in a financial crisis, what bills are "Mickey Mouse" bills and they shouldn't even be considered for anything and what bills are really good bills and those are the ones that I'm signing."

So what "job killers" did the governor veto?
