The latest on California politics and government

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's cabinet secretary, Dan Dunmoyer, is leaving his post after three years in the Republican administration and will be replaced by Labor and Workforce Development Agency Secretary Victoria Bradshaw, the Governor's Office announced Wednesday.

"The governor has forever changed the political landscape in Sacramento and I am proud to say that I was a part of that effort," Dunmoyer said in a statement. "The past three years have been incredibly rewarding and I look forward to spending more time with my family."

Dunmoyer, a Republican, previously worked as president and chief executive officer of the Personal Insurance Federation of California. As cabinet secretary, he worked with agency directors and department directors throughout the governor's administration.

Bradshaw has served as Labor and Workforce Development secretary since 2004. She will take a pay cut as cabinet secretary, earning $147,900.
