SBX8 49: Implementation of AB 32, Cap-and-Trade - Puts a halt to the state version of cap-and-trade.
SBX8 21: Homebuyer Tax Credit - A $10,000 per homebuyer tax credit would go towards the purchase of new and existing homes.
SBX8 43: Capital Gains Tax Reduction - Cuts the long term capital gains rates in half.
SBX8 44: R&D Tax Credit - Aligns California's research and development tax credit rate with that of the federal government's.
SBX8 47: Health Savings Account - Increases state tax deductions for contributions to Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).
SBX8 68: Energy Commission Regulations - Requires that the California Energy Commission is overseen by the full legislature and that any new regulations need to wait until California's unemployment rate is maintained at 5.1 percent or lower for 3 consecutive months.
SBX8 59: Work Opportunity Tax Credit -- Gives employers tax credits for hiring people off historically high welfare rolls.
SBX8 60 Jobs Protection Act - Requires a fiscal impact analysis, a hearing and legislative approval before bills affecting business costs become law.
SBX8 65: Out of State Health Plans - Permits out of state health care plans and insurers to offer their services in California.
SBX8 56: CEQA Exemptions - Streamlines the infrastructure project permitting process.
SBX8 61: K-12 contracting -
Gets rid of antiquated policies that limit the ability to hire the best, most cost efficient person for non-instructional jobs - such as transportation, landscaping and maintenance - allowing schools to do what is most important -- teach our children.
SBX8 51: Improve Small Business Access to Capital- Simplifies the business tax code to assist companies in their efforts to expand and hire new workers.
SBX8 58: Manufacturers, R&D Sales and Use Tax Exemption -
Exempts manufacturing and research and development equipment from sales and use taxes.
SBX8 63: Veterans Hiring Tax Credit - Provides a tax credit to private sector employers who hire veterans.
SBX8 70: Meals and Rest Periods - Allows more flexible and appropriate standards for employers and employees to schedule mandatory breaks throughout a shift.
SBX8 46: New Car Sales Tax Reduction - Allows a person trading in their used car to reduce the principle cost of a new vehicle.
SBX8 54: Eliminate Corporate Penalty Eliminates the existing million dollar penalty for companies that underestimate their corporate tax liability.
SBX8 67: Salesperson Licensing Reform - Allows owners of multiple car dealerships to share staff.
SBX8 57: Delay On-Road/In-Use Diesel Regulations - Delays the new diesel engine regulations enacted by The California Air Resources Board.
SBX8 66: Flexible Workweek - Allows employers to offer flexible work weeks.
SBX8 48: Systematic Review of Regulations - Requires a review of all regulations to determine which ones are cost effective and requiring those that are not to be repealed or amended.
SBX8 50: Third-party Analysis of Economic Impact of ARB Regulations - Requires an objective third-party to analyze the economic impact of Air Resource Board (ARB) regulations.
SBX8 64: Repeal of the Sue Your Boss Law - Repeals the Private Attorneys General Act, which takes the responsibility of investigating employer misdeeds out of the hands of the Labor commission or the Attorney General and puts it into the hands of lawyers.
SBX8 69: Tort Reform - Prevents innocent sellers from being frivolously sued for selling faulty goods they did not manufacture.
