From Cathy Locke:
Four Newcastle residents have been arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property and mail theft.

The arrests, announced today by the Placer County Sheriff's Department, followed an investigation that began July 28, when a citizen reported seeing individuals in a new green BMW with out-of-state license plates taking mail from people's mail boxes.
A deputy on Tuesday stopped a vehicle matching that description on Interstate 80 at Ophir Road. The vehicle had a cracked windshield, and occupants Aaron Renfro (far left), 32, and Rebecca Carrillo (left), 25, were found to possess stolen credit cards, drivers licenses and checks, a sheriff's department news release states.
A parole search conducted at Renfro and Carrillo's residence in Newcastle revealed trash bags full of stolen mail, credit cards, checks and a large amount of property stolen from a burglary a week earlier, sheriff's officials reported.

Arrested at the residence were Elijah Murray (far left), 38, and Eziekiel Rutledge (left), 37.
Items recovered at the home included furniture, clothing, two motorcycles, lawn furniture, kitchen appliances, household items, children's birth certificates and sporting equipment. Value of the stolen property recovered was approximately $15,000.
When arrested, Murray was wearing a victim's T-shirt and Rutledge was wearing a victim's baseball cap, according to the news release.
Renfro and Carrillo were held without bail. Bail for Murray was set at $45,000, for Rutledge $5,000.
