Unlike Arnold, Tom McClintock isn’t running right and left at the same time. He’s just running. He’s produced his first television ad, and it highlights his experience (he knows “every inch of this government") and his guts ("willing to challenge the spending lobby that controls it"). “This can be the moment,” McClintock says, “when we roll back the taxes and the regulation that are destroying our economy.” The only problem is that, at this moment, McClintock probably has enough money to air the ad for a few nights in a few small markets.
