Idols, Rascals and Wiggles - oh my!

So did you all stick it out through last night's kickoff of "American Idol" Season 7? There's been a lot of pre-show chatter about how this latest "American Idol" would feel different than years' past, but didn't it seem like the same ol' same ol'? Red Coke cups - check. Trainwreck performances - check. Simon's snark - double check. But will someone tell Christina Tolisano to give back my "Star Wars" belt? Geez ... Anyway, Leigh Grogan at 21Q has the blow-by-blow from last night's "American Idol" so check that out. But in the meantime, let's hear it for Chris Watson. The dude really came through on Uncle Kracker's "Follow Me" and has the looks and vocal flexibility that those wacky "Idol" judges crave.

(cue "whoa oh-oh oaaah" and fade to a Ford commercial)

Moving on ... just found out that Rascal Flatts is coming to Arco Arena on April 10. And speaking of the home of the Kings, looks like the Wiggles are coming to Arco on March 27. Parents, be scared - very scared ... ticket information on both these shows will be coming soon, so hang tight.
