Gregor Schlierenzauer has won the third leg of the Four Hills ski jumping tournament to take the lead in the overall World Cup standings. The tournament is composed of four ski jumping world cup events and has taken place in Germany and Austria each year since 1952. The Four Hills Tournament champion is the one who gets the most points over the four events. The tournament is third only to the World Cup and the Winter Olympics as the most sought-after title on the ski jumping world circuit. The German-Austrian tournament began in Oberstdorf before moving to Garmisch-Partenkirchen on Jan. 1 and Innsbruck on Jan. 3. It will be in Bischofshofen on Jan. 6.
