Tiny Victory Christian of Carmichael has the area's best winning percentage this season.

The unranked Vikings are 15-1-1 overall and lead the Central Valley Christian League with an 8-0-1 mark after beating Delta of Clarksburg 31-9 on Monday.

The Vikings' biggest win was 15-5 over No. 19 Placer, the Pioneer Valley League leader, in a nonleague game March 21. The Vikings' only loss was 10-5 to Berean Christian of Walnut Creek April 16 in the Vacaville Christian Tournament.

Victory Christian has three of the CVCL's batting leaders, according to Maxpreps.com, in senior Michael Flores (.510) and juniors Nathan Coppernall (.509) and Johnny Coburn (.490) while 6-2, 210-pound senior catcher Joey Kurtz is batting .438 with 22 RBI.

Senior pitcher Ryan Busch is 6-1 and freshman Clayton Coppernoll is 4-0.
