Corbett, Advocates discuss Consumer Scams in the Foreclosure Crisis
SACRAMENTO – Senator Ellen Corbett (D-San Leandro) will hold a media availability on Tuesday, March 24 at 12 p.m. to discuss the foreclosure crisis and resulting consumer scams.
Later that day, Senate Judiciary Committee will hold an informational hearing at 1 p.m. to discuss the foreclosure scams that have arisen as a result of the mortgage meltdown and to examine the need for legislation to protect consumers from those scams.
