Updated: OCIO Strategic Initiatives
Overview 2009
To
better facilitate the important dialogue between vendors and
state officials about emerging technologies and the State’s
direction with Information Technology (IT), the OCIO will be
hosting a vendor forum on February 23, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. to
12:30 p.m. This will be the first in a regular
series of events to focus on all that is happening in state
government. The first forum, to be held at the
Department of General Services headquarters, will focus on the
recently released California IT Strategic Plan, IT Capital
Plan and the Governor’s IT Reorganization Plan.
Although
the event is open to the public, due to an overwhelming
response, we are asking that all participants RSVP prior to
attending. However, the event will be live
Webcast on our website (www.cio.ca.gov) for anyone to
watch. Also due to space limitations, we are
asking for vendors to send no more than two representatives to
the event. Thank you for your interest and
participation as we work together to move California’s
Information Technology program forward and embrace the
exciting future of government technology to serve the people
of California. |
