Well, the clock is ticking, but I found the fragrance gift guide in Sunday's paper to be a real nose turner. If you're looking for last-minute gift ideas for her or for him, check out your loved one's perfume or cologne supply and supplement it with either a new bottle or perhaps a different version of their favorite scent, such as a shower gel or body lotion.
There's plenty to pick from. And, if you opened any of those little scented strips, you might have found a new scent to try - maybe even for yourself. One I'd love to have in my stocking - hint, hint - is Donna Karan's new Gold scent (shown above).
And, lest you think teen boys, oh, say, around 14, are just into smelling like sweat or something inexpensive, think again. My son is now hinting for a bottle of Giorgio Armani's Aqua di Gio. He took a whiff at a friend's house and says it's the new scent for him!
Maybe he'll get that along with a giant bottle of Eau de Dial.
