If you're reading this happy holiday blog item right now, I hope you're still in your pajamas!
I tried to find some stats on this, but couldn't come up with anything concrete. But, I have a theory that most folks would have no problem wearing their festive pj's from dawn to dusk today.
And, for those of you who might have received some comfy sleeper bottoms and a warm top (add fuzzy socks), who needs getting all gussied up in heels and hosiery?
I'm a firm believer in tradition: You wear your pj's until people in passing cars see you and start shaking their heads. I've worn mine every year to take breakfast/brunch to my neighbors across the street. They're usually something festive - maybe reindeer or dancing Santas - and I don UGG boots and a hat, sort of like the one that the kid called "Flick" in "A Christmas Story" wears. (By the way, if you haven't seen that movie, it's still playing on TBS, with a final showing at 6 tonight.)
Happy holidays, and I promise to be even more fashionable in 2007!
