1022_ver_lg.jpgI've got good news, just in time for that Memorial Day weekend trip to the mall!

Nordstrom Arden Fair has launched the Shu Uemura cosmetics line, and you just have to try the eyelash curler (shown left). That's right, the eyelash curler.

Yes, it's $18. But once you try it, especially before applying mascara, you'll be amazed at how long even scrawny lashes can look.

In fact, the latest technology behind the curler is an upgraded silicone pad in a new "mushroom" shape. In other words, it helps you get a better grip on your lashes.

Shu Uemura, the man who created the cosmetics line, was born in 1928 in Japan, he's definitely a pioneer in the beauty world. The Shu Uemura line stretches from Japan to Europe to the United States.

The Shu Uemura counter is located right next to Clinique on the lower level of Nordstrom Arden Fair.

On Saturday, June 9th, Nordstrom will be having its seasonal “Trend Show”. This is an exclusive fashion show style makeup event that showcases all of the latest tips and trends for makeup in the spring and summer seasons.
