Pop open the bubbly: Study reveals champagne may prevent Alzheimer's disease

A study by the University of Reading shows drinking three glasses of champagne per week could help prevent Alzheimer's disease.

Researchers said pinot noir and pinto meunier grapes used to make champagne contain compounds which boost memory and battle illness.

When tested on rats, those varietals were shown to have significant health benefits, the study found.
