An unmanned SpaceX Falcon rocket exploded while it was being landed on an ocean barge after successfully delivering an ocean monitoring satellite into orbit. Entrepreneur Elon Musk, leader of the project, posted video of the failed landing and subsequent explosion, explaining that one of the landing legs on the spacecraft broke, causing the machine to pitch over on its side and disintegrate in a fiery blast.
