Then, we had the tourists who put a bison calf in their car because they feared it was too cold. It later had to be euthanized because it had been abandoned.
Now, video shows a woman getting too close to an elk as she apparently tried to capture a picture. The animal charges her.
Jody Tibbits, a nature guide at Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris who saw the elk incident, posted this video from the incident.
An elk can weigh as much as 500 pounds.
Yellowstone National Park published some advice on its Facebook page urging visitors to be careful.
