In recent years, technology has enabled us to do and sometimes replace a great deal of things, such as security guards. Patrol robots seem to be the security norm of the future. However, they seem to be causing a bit of trouble.
The Stanford Shopping Center’s security robot landed itself in hot water after running over a child.
“The robot hit my son’s head and he fell down facing down on the floor and the robot did not stop and it kept moving forward,” said Tiffany Teng, mother of the victim.
The child did not suffer from an broken bones.
